About The Conference/Simulcast

Empowered to Connect Conference is a two-day simulcast conference which includes presentations on Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) methods developed by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross from the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at Texas Christian University.

This conference includes practical teaching designed to encourage, educate and equip families, caregivers, churches and professionals to better serve children impacted by adoption and foster care. In lieu of a live 2020 Empowered to Connect Conference, the presenting organization, Show Hope, is offering a rebroadcast of the 2019 Conference. Join us as we Rewind 2019 Empowered to Connect Conference!

What's Included

$10 registration fee, per person, includes access information to view event from home.

Continuing Education Credits

Attendees can receive up to 11 hours of training.

A certificate will be provided for attendees. Licensed foster parents can use this certificate to submit as relicensing hours. Because this is a rebroadcast of last years conference, please check with your licensing agency to confirm that they will accept the hours (especially if you attended the 2019 Conference hosted locally by Bridge a Life).
