This one-day tournament benefits Bridge a Life (BaL). BaL provides impactful support for Foster & Adoptive Families, believing that every child deserves a family and every family deserves support. BaL’s vision is that children with relational trauma are loved in fully-equipped families, bringing about healing and generational change. What's better than pickleball? How about pickleball that supports families in the Manatee, Sarasota, and DeSoto communities!

This one-day tournament is hosted at the UMR Sports Complex: 🏅 Saturday, November 30, 2024 – Mixed Doubles Events The first event will kick-off at 8am with check-in beginning at 7:30am.

Time slots for each mixed double event will be sent out once registration is closed.

$60 to register plus a $5 processing fee at check-out

Complimentary water, snacks, corn hole, and music. A food truck will also be available on site for additional purchases.

The top three teams for each event will receive medals.

Each participant will also receive a raffle ticket for an additional prize opportunity. Medals ceremony and prize drawing will be held after each event.

If this is your first Pickleball Tournament, please reference these helpful tips! 

1. If you don’t already have a DUPR account, create one at DUPR.com (it is the Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating system and most pickleball tournaments require this). 

2. The next step is to create a Pickleball Brackets account at PickleballBrackets.com (this is a widely used pickleball tournament registration site). 

3. To Register click on the “Register Here” button below or use this link (PickleballBrackets.com?BaL) to take you directly to the Bridge a Life tournament then click the Details & Registration button to proceed. 
   • During registration you will be prompted to select the Mixed Double Level that is closest to your estimated DUPR rating (3.0 Novice, 3.5 Intermediate, 4.0+ Advance). That is the event you are signing up to compete in.
   • Partners:
     • If you have a partner, they will also need a DUPR and Pickleball Brackets account before you are able to search and select them (once selected, the system will send them an email requesting that they also register within 5 days of your registration).
     • If you don’t have a partner, you can select the need a partner option to see if there are other players also looking. ! All start times are subject to change and events might be merged or split based on event registration.
